Does PROSHIELD Pass The Michelin Star Test?

At PROSHIELD, we always strive for excellence. When a highly established restaurant approached us about the importance of cleanliness and perfection in their space, we knew our stone protection film was a match.

After renovating their establishment, the next step for this business was to aim for one of the highest levels of excellence in the industry, a Michelin star. Part of the renovation involved adding black granite tables to all of the eating spaces. It was quickly discovered that this specific stone was incredibly susceptible to ring marks from glassware which was not ideal for food critics to spot.

In order to solve this problem, the staff at the restaurant tried a few liquid sealants but none of the options gave them the result they wanted. The liquid sealants gave off an incredibly potent smell which prolonged the length of serving guests in the restaurant which negatively impacted the daily operations of the business. 

Ultimately, they looked towards PROSHIELD for a seamless and bespoke solution. Not only is our stone protection film scent-free, but it is free from chemicals as well, allowing guests to safely eat and drink off of the surfaces. Shortly after having PROSHIELD installed on all of their stone surfaces, a Michelin star was acquired thanks to the restaurant’s dining experience and overall ambience.

The restaurant was so confident in PROSHIELD’s stone protection film that when they expanded their space, they had the film installed on their new stone surfaces too.
