Renowned interior designer Phoenix Grey had clients that were hesitant to commit to natural stone in their new kitchen due to staining, etching, maintenance and fading. They were set on a unique and eye-catching Calacatta Viola Monet marble to be the centerpiece of their home. However, as frequent hosts, a simple spill of wine or coffee could potentially ruin the stone they had their eyes on.
After hearing about PROSHIELD’s countertop protection film through other clients and people in the industry, Phoenix had confidence in our product to not only protect his clients’ stone but preserve it for years to come.
During the renovation process, our Honed countertop film was applied, keeping the smooth, matte finish while flawlessly protecting the marble. Once the countertop protection film was installed and sealed within the day, the homeowners got to take a look at their new kitchen and were blown away at how invisible the film was. Phoenix’s clients couldn’t believe how flawless the stone looked and were happy that they could still see and feel all of the fissures, veining, and unique details of the stone. Their hesitancy was quickly solved and they couldn’t wait to host their next party to show off their new space.
